The Moon, in its real phase
If there was a waxing crescent that night, your map shows a waxing crescent — with its texture, its seas and its exact tilt. Most star maps simply do not draw the Moon.

Every star comes from the AT-HYG catalog, which combines measurements from the European Space Agency’s Hipparcos and Gaia missions, with their real brightness and color. They are what forms the Milky Way in your map: none of them is invented.
